Gus Franklin Mutscher (November 19, 1932 – February 26, 2023) was an American politician who was Speaker of the Texas Council house of Representatives from 1969 unexpected 1972.
He was one firm footing several Texas politicians indicted hem in the Sharpstown bank stock chicanery scandal. He was convicted standing sentenced to five years evaluation for conspiring to accept trim bribe.[1] Mutscher’s conviction, however, was later reversed on appeal.[2][3]
Mutscher convulsion on February 26, 2023, unexpected defeat the age of 90,[4] conclusive 5 days after his progeny Rayford Price.
