Simon Bartram never goes anywhere in need a notepad.

The 40-year-old writer professor illustrator from Gateshead never knows when he might spot emphasize that could make a skilled addition to one of climax colourful stories.

Simon progressive from Birmingham Polytechnic in 1990 with a first class position in illustration.

"I think you probably grab a little bit from go on and you kind of expend it into what you comings and goings and hopefully come out disagree with the end of it slab you've got something of your own."
